Matt Fielder's visit

Pic on the left is our church auditorium. It looks a bit cacat from the pic coz ppl r actually packing down. Yeah .. every Sunday 630am, some awesome ppl from church came n set up this auditorium which belongs to a dance school. Pack down every Sunday after the evening service. It takes more than just pastors to run this church. I’ve realized that everyone is important. It’s the same as the Kingdom of God. God sees every individual irreplaceable n precious. Sometimes u might feel inferior but hey, everyone is special n precious in His eyes!!

We had pastor Matt Fielder from planetshakers church Melbourne as our guest speaker last Sunday. The day before that we (international students leaders) had a meeting with him at church office. What he had done for the internationals in planetshakers is incredible. They had events like Mamak night – 800 ppl came!!! Check out this site http://www.planetuni.com.au/. He shared that a student actually came up to him and ask him " why do u love us ? " and his answer was "It’s your fault, u made me fall in love with you. " We laughed after hearing this. But in this 2 hours meeting I can feel this huge loving heart with passion for internationals from Matt. He said" how do u break the culture barriers ? Just by caring about them n loving them !! "

Later that afternoon, we discuss about bgr in DJ group. The main thing I got out of the discussion is that a healthy relationship is a relationship that glorifies God. We have to love God more than our partner. The focus is still on God. Pastor Matt’s preaching on Sunday reassured this point!! When he said that u have to love God more than u love ur bf/gf or husband/wife , the whole DJ group (mel, Melvyn, fran, grace, esther yap, step n me ) which attended the same service exchanged look . hehehe… awesome ….
