hard time learning korean

Had finally made up my mind to learn korean... thx to green and grace's encouragement ... i've always felt so envy seeing ppl talking in korean .... wanted to have the ability to do it one day :>
but still being chingwen,felt hard out learning those make no sense and don't know what they mean korean words ..
why on earth do i want to learn korean??ha .. i don't know ... i just simply love korean .. the food ... the drama series(oh yeah ... they r awesome) ....
had memorized all the vowels and consonants but still can't pronounce those words correctly as grace don't even know what on earth am i talking..... sigh......
my aim for this year is to be able to chat with ppl in korean... is that possible??? i doubted seeing my results for these few days....:<
